Maryland Monuments at Antietam


The monument to Battery A, First Maryland Light Artillery is on Smoketown Road at the intersection with Mumma Lane. (Smoketown Road South tour map) It was dedicated on May 30, 1900.
Battery A is also honored by a monument at Gettysburg.
