Cornfield Avenue runs just to the south of the 30 acre cornfield of David R. Miller. Over 13,000 men were shot down there, making it possibly the bloodiest ground in American history, and forever giving it the name, The Bloody Cornfield. Because of the number of the monuments and markers Cornfield Avenue is divided into an east and west tour map.
