The Otto Farm trail is on the southern end of the Antietam battlefield. It leads south from the Otto farm house.

The photo looks south along the Otto Farm trail which leads to the 11th and 12th Ohio Infantry monuments. Here the trail over the years has become a sunken road similar to how Bloody Lane probably looked before its post-battle landscaping.
