This view looks south along Rodman Avenue just north of its bridge over Burnside Bridge Road. Rodman Avenue crosses a bridge over the modern Burnside Bridge Road (visible to the left of the telephone pole) which since it was built in 1960 does not go over Burnside’s Bridge. After crossing over the bridge Rodman Avenue ends at a T. The road that currently does go to the Burnside’s Bridge parking area is to the left, while Branch Avenue turns off to the right and continues south.View of the South End of Rodman Avenue at Antietam

On the ridge in the distance on the right you can see monuments to the 45th Pennsylvania and 100th Pennsylvania, with the monuments to the 36th Ohio and 28th Ohio farther up the hill.
